48° Nord stopover in Morocco : next step, the Atlantic cross.
Jean-Gabriel Chelala (http://www.jeangabrielchelala.com/) left Paris on January 13th for an unusual trip: his goal was to make the first human powered circumnavigation of the world.
Along French, Spanish and Portuguese coasts, he has already cycled for 2000 kilometers and on March 7th, he took his cyclomer on board (a 24.60 foot boat, pedal-driven) to cross the Atlantic Ocean.
After 13 days and 430 nautical miles sailing, he decided to stop over in Safi, a Moroccan port, to check his boat and wait better weather conditions. Equipped with MaxSea software, he will soon go back on board, and reach American coasts within 2 months.
We will inform you about Jean Gabriel’s adventures’, who is encouraged by the entire MaxSea team. If you want to send him messages of encouragement too, visit his blog.
