Testimony of an Irish mussel fisher

Our company currently own two mussel dredgers, both of which have a combination of MaxSea plotter software with full option 2D/3D and Seascan. To be honest we can't fish anymore without this setup. In the areas we fish, nobody knows where the mussel seed can be found, and in the past, it was more or less a question of luck to catch seed. Last year we experienced five successful trips catching huge volumes of seed, and four of those trips were done having Seascan and MaxSea on board. If we didn't have that system, we wouldn't have caught the seed, simple as that!
